Some ignore evil. However, Hell is quite real. This writer is showing you just how far Satan will go to take what God gave you, and make you despair. Don't despair.

Jesse Romero shares his experiences in The Devil in the City of Angels.
I appreciate Jesse Romero for sharing his experiences with people who were affected by demons living in them. I have read other spiritual warfare text but his book brings to life real experiences. It is nothing to joke about or ignore. Also in his book he shares how we need to live a life of holiness. Pray and ask God if this is what He wants you to read. Follow Jesus, not this world or worldly things.

A Quick Read: The Author Relates Some of His Encounters with the Diabolical in the Hispanic Community
All one has to do is look at the images and issues promulgated by the secular world to realize that Satan is stalking the Earth. As revert myself, I went from being a lukewarm Catholic to becoming a Lay Dominican. I could relate with the author's experiences since I'm a retired police officer, myself. The author does us a great service in bearing witness to his fights with Satan and his minions -- the author's concern is saving the soul of the possessed. The book is a quick read: a minor limitation is that the book seems to be directed towards the HIspanic community (particularly the dangers of the Santa Muerte and the Santeria cults). The author helps demonstrate the dangers inherent with playing with the preternatural spiritual forces: the practitioners think that they are controlling those spiritual forces but they are actually opening themselves to possession.

Mr. Romero brings reality to my attention - that the devil and its followers are the real enemies in our world. I need to pray for all mankind, asking the Holy Spirit to pour Grace upon all who may be influenced by evil. Please God - save our souls.
