I have not finished reading this yet, but am working my way through this excellent book. This book is opening up Dante to me in ways I had never thought of. If you enjoy classical books I would highly encourage you to read this as it will flush out a deeper spiritual understanding of the text and enhance your spiritual walk with Christ. There is much to ponder and reflect on here.

Excellent Spiritual Advice

These 3 books by Father Pearson provide a new perspective on Dante's masterpiece. They are insightful and easy to read. I am working my way through all 3 volumes. Having read Dante's Divine Comedy several times, along with some of the (massive!) critical works on Dante, I am delighted to say that these volumes - which may be read independently - are extremely worthwhile, very different, and memorable.
