The Demonic Influence on Women Today

In the late ’60s, a small group of elite American women convinced an overwhelming majority of the country that destroying the most fundamental of relationships—that of mother and child—was necessary for women to have productive and happy lives.

From the spoiling of this relationship followed the decay of the entire family, and almost overnight, our once pro-life culture became pro-lifestyle, embracing everything that felt good. Sixty million abortions later, women aren’t showing signs of health, happiness, and fulfillment. Unprecedentedly high numbers of divorce, depression, anxiety, sexually transmitted disease, and drug abuse all point to the reality that women aren’t happier, just more medicated.

Huge cultural shifts led to a rethinking of womanhood, but could there be more behind it than just culture, politics, and rhetoric?

Building off the scriptural foundations of the anti-Christ, Carrie Gress, Ph.D., makes an in-depth investigation into the idea of an anti-Mary—as a spirit, not an individual—that has plagued the West since the ’60s. Misleading generations of women, this anti-Marian spirit has led to the toxic femininity that has destroyed the lives of countless men, women, and children.

Included in The Anti-Mary Exposed:

  • How radical feminism is connected to the errors of Russia, spoken of by Our Lady of Fatima
  • The involvement and influence of the goddess movement and the occult
  • The influence of “female” demons, such as Lilith and Jezebel
  • The repulsive underbelly of radical feminism’s chief architects
  • A look at the matriarchy, a cabal of elite women committed to abortion, who control the thinking of most women through media, politics, Hollywood, fashion, and universities

The antidote to the anti-Mary is, of course, Mary, the Mother of God, known widely as the most powerful woman in the world and the source of the belief that women ought to be treated with dignity. She is a beacon of all the virtues and qualities—purity, humility, kindness, beauty—that oppose this sinister force that has cast its spell upon so many women. Mary’s influence is unparalleled by any woman in history. She is the perfect model of Christian femininity, who desires to be a spiritual mother to us all, leading us to her Son, and to the fulfillment of our heart’s deepest desires.

    Reading Group Selection

I appreciated many of the author's insights, but I expected the book to have more theological heft (and a Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur). The reading group of ladies I attended may have swayed my views of the book, however, because they interpreted the book almost solely in the context of their personal family lives and I looked for more theological and spiritual themes. Perhaps more input from Saint Edith Stein and Alice von Hildebrand would have made the book a more meaningful experience for me.

    Great Book, a Must Read

Posted by Manuel A. on May 19th 2022

I bought this book both in English and Spanish, both my wife and one of my daughters are avidly devouring it. The moment I saw it I knew the book had to be great. My wife facilitates a group of about 20 women and she highly recommended it to all of them, now they're all buying it to read it. Thanks Tan Books

    Makes perfect sense to me

An excellent analysis of the perversion of Christian values and the role of Mary in reversing the feminist manifesto. One of the many negative aspects of the movement is that prior to the 60s, families generally needed one spouse to work outside the home and one to raise the family at home. When both parents started to work outside the home, the economy expanded to the point that BOTH parents now need to work outside of the home to raise a family. So much for choice. Be careful what you wish for. I was happy to have a mom at home when I was growing up. My children don’t have that option with their families. This book should be an eye opener to those who think they and their families are better off today.

    Young women should read

Posted by Caitlyn G. on May 14th 2022

I enjoyed this book overall. She lays out how the feminist movement began and the destruction it has caused. I think all teenager/young women should read it. I gave a copy to my 15 year old sister!

    Beautiful and terrifying

Carrie Gress fervently expresses the terrifying points of our modern culture’s allowance of satanic influence into the very heart of humanity. Then, she explains the antidote to this terror as our beautiful Blessed Mother. Poignant, this book touched me deeply and I reordered 4 more copies to share with friends.

    Intelligently explained and logically proven

This book blew me out of my comfortable state of thinking things were just going sour around here. To read about the plan, put into place by the Evil One in cahoots with several groups activity destroying the family and true feminity interrupted my world. I've read this twice already and I'm ready to read it again. I need to review my action steps and that blessedly hopeful last chapter.
