Great means for holiness
Litanies are highly efficacious means of prayer in that they incorporate elements of devotion, doctrinal teachings, penance, and supplication and praise. Some of them carry pontifical indulgences. I have come to treasure this book above most other prayer books. These litanies move the soul to grow in humility, faith, hope and charity: a great means for holiness.
